Thread plug gauge

The function of thread plug gauge:

A thread plug gauge is a tool used to measure the accuracy of internal thread dimensions.,Simulate the large solid tooth shape of the tested thread,use a thread plug gauge to check whether the effective pitch diameter of the tested thread exceeds the pitch diameter of its large solid tooth shape,and use a thread plug gauge to simultaneously check whether the actual size of the base diameter exceeds its large solid size.

Introduction to the types of thread plug gauges:

Thread plug gauges can be divided into three types:ordinary coarse thread,fine thread,and pipe thread.Thread plug gauges with a pitch of 0.35 millimeters or less,grade 2 accuracy and above,and grade 3 accuracy with a pitch of 0.8 millimeters or less do not have a dead end measuring head.Thread plug gauges below 100mm are taper shank thread plug gauges.Double shank thread plug gauges with a diameter of over 100 millimeters.

Usage of thread plug gauge:

If the tested thread can pass through the thread gauge and does not pass through the thread stop gauge(the thread stop gauge only allows for two segments of rotation with the tested thread,and the rotation amount should not exceed two pitches),it indicates that the effective pitch diameter of the tested thread has not exceeded the pitch diameter of its large solid tooth shape,and a single pitch diameter has not exceeded the pitch diameter of its small solid tooth shape.Therefore,the screw fit and connection strength can be determined,and the measured thread pitch diameter is qualified.

The"T"on the thread plug gauge represents the go gauge,and the"Z"represents the no go gauge.When checking the thread,it is necessary to ensure that the through gauge can be rotated through the workpiece thread,while the stop gauge is considered qualified only when the amount of rotation between the stop gauge and the workpiece thread is less than two pitches.The commonly used accuracy of ordinary thread plug gauges is 6H,7H level.
