A brief introduction to the metric inspection rod:

The metric inspection rod is a common tool in machine tool manufacturing and repair work,mainly used to check the radial runout,axial displacement,coaxiality,parallelism,and parallelism with the guide rail of spindle sleeve components.There are three commonly used types of inspection rods:standard cone shank inspection rod,cylindrical machine tool inspection rod,and inspection rod.The inspection rod is made of tool steel,which has undergone heat treatment and processing,and has sufficient rigidity in structure.To reduce weight,it can be made hollow.For the convenience of assembly,disassembly,and storage,disassembly threads and small holes for hanging can be made on the rod.

①Inspection rod with standard cone handle:Material is CRWMN or T10A,the rod body is heat treated with C59,and qualitative treatment is required.

②Cylindrical inspection rod:The material of the rod body is T10A or seamless steel pipe,and the heat treatment is C59.

Introduction to the uses of metric inspection rods:

The metric inspection rod is mainly used for precision inspection of machine tool guides and workbenches,geometric accuracy measurement,component measurement,scraping and grinding process processing,etc.It is the benchmark for measurement,and is also used for measuring and inspecting the parallelism and perpendicularity of mechanical parts in the three-dimensional marking of fitters.Used for inspection,marking,positioning,and clamping of shaft parts in mechanical processing.
