Soft sealed gate valve

Soft seal gate valve, industrial valve, the opening and closing component of soft seal gate valve is the gate, and the direction of the gate's movement is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid. The gate valve can only be fully open and fully closed, and cannot be adjusted or throttled. The gate has two sealing surfaces, and the two sealing surfaces of the commonly used gate valve form a wedge shape. The wedge angle varies with the valve parameters, with a nominal diameter of DN50 to DN1200 and a service temperature of ≤ 200 ℃

Working principle: The gate plate of the wedge gate valve can be made into a whole, called a steel gate plate; It can also be made into a gate that can produce slight deformation, with practical effects as the main process factor, to compensate for the deviation of the sealing surface angle during the processing. This type of gate is called an elastic gateSoft seal gate valves are divided into two types: rising stem soft seal gate valves and rising stem soft seal gate valves. Usually, there is a trapezoidal thread on the lifting rod, which converts rotary motion into linear motion through the nut in the middle of the gate and the guide groove on the valve body, that is, turning operating torque into operating thrust. When opening the valve, when the lifting height of the gate is equal to 1:1 times the valve diameter, all fluid channels are unobstructed, but this position cannot be monitored during operation. In actual use, the vertex of the valve stem is used as a marker, that is, the position that cannot be opened, as its fully open position. To consider the phenomenon of locking due to temperature changes, it is usually done by opening to the top position and then reversing 1/2 to 1 turn as the fully open valve position. Therefore, the fully open position of the valve is determined based on the position (i.e. stroke) of the gate. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in pipelines.

General Requirements

1. The specification and category of the soft seal gate valve should comply with the requirements of the pipeline design documents.

2. The model of the soft seal gate valve should indicate the requirements of the national standard number. If it is an enterprise standard, the relevant description of the model should be indicated.

3. The working pressure of the soft seal gate valve should be ≥ the working pressure of the pipeline. On the premise of not affecting the price, the working pressure that the valve can withstand should be greater than the actual working pressure of the pipeline. When the soft seal gate valve is closed, any side should be able to withstand 1.1 times the valve working pressure value without leakage; When the valve is open, the valve body should be able to withstand the requirement of twice the valve working pressure

4. The manufacturing standard for soft sealed gate valves should specify the national standard number based on which they are manufactured. If it is an enterprise standard, the procurement contract should be accompanied by an enterprise document
