Diagonal iron|Diagonal pad iron,also known as diagonal iron cushion block,wedge-shaped diagonal iron,leveling pad iron,hook paired diagonal iron,steel diagonal iron,Q235 diagonal iron,etc.,is mainly used for adjusting the degree and parallelism of mechanical equipment during installation.It is an auxiliary product of mechanical equipment installation.Diagonal pad iron generally does not have detailed specifications,and is designed according to the weight of the equipment drawing and customized for processing.

Slope of inclined iron:The slope of inclined pad iron should be 1/10 to 1/20;The slope of the pad iron for equipment with high vibration or equipment can be 1/4

Device application:The pad iron should be placed on both sides near the anchor bolt,which is called the standard pad method.Depending on the size of the equipment base,structural type,and spacing between anchor bolts,there are also different cushion methods.For example,when the distance between the small anchor bolts of the equipment base is relatively close,the cross pad method of placing only one set of shims between two anchor bolts can be used;When the distance between the local anchor bolts is far,in addition to using the standard pad method,an auxiliary pad method of adding a set of pad iron in the middle needs to be used;For large equipment,a mixed pad method including standard pad method,cross pad method,and auxiliary pad method can be used based on the shape of the base and the spacing between the anchor bolts.

There are two types of diagonal pad iron:single diagonal pad iron and paired diagonal pad iron.Single diagonal pad iron mostly does not accept the main load,and there should be a flat pad iron below it;Paired diagonal pad iron is used to receive the main load and is commonly used in conjunction with the grouting method construction.Flat iron pads are usually rectangular,but due to the requirements of equipment installation parts or equipment structure,sometimes toothed iron pads or L-shaped iron pads are also used.Paired diagonal pad iron with hooks is commonly used for equipment installed directly on the floor without the need for anchor bolts.Bolt adjustment pad iron also belongs to the category of paired diagonal pad iron.It is a device that changes the height of the equipment by adjusting the bolt to move two diagonal pieces relative to each other,which can improve the efficiency of the device.It is suitable for devices such as machine tools.

The purpose of setting shims between the base of the cast iron platform equipment and the outer surface of the foundation is to:(1)adjust the elevation and degree of the equipment;(2)Correct the micro deformation of the equipment base;(3)Transfer the load of the equipment(including equipment weight,tightening force of anchor bolts,and other additional forces)to the foundation;(4)Save a gap of _ between the equipment base and the root surface,so that the secondary grouting layer can fill the gap between the bottom surface of the equipment base and the outer surface of the root surface;(5)When the equipment is not subjected to secondary grouting,the pad iron has a damping effect on the vibration of the equipment.
