3. If the ductile iron casting is broken, the cleaning method is to first clean the adhesive on the rubber ring, bend the rubber ring into a "plum blossom" or "8" shape and install it into the socket groove. Use your hand to press along the entire rubber ring, or use a rubber hammer to compact it. The rubber ring should not be warped or twisted in any part, and should be evenly stuck in the groove. Then, apply the smoothing agent evenly to the inner surface of the rubber ring installed in the socket device When applying a lubricant on the outer surface of the socket, all socket areas outside the socket wire should be evenly brushed. The pipe should be lowered to the bottom of the groove according to the request of the pipe, usually using manual or mechanical lowering methods.
