The process of forging and delivery on cast iron platforms is divided into four fundamental departments:preparation of forged metal,preparation and casting of molds,and disposal of castings.

1.Metal preparation,tension is metal smelting:a metal with a certain identity(such as iron,aluminum,or copper)is melted into a specified identity metal melt(cast iron,cast steel,and forged non-ferrous metals)by heating other metal or non-metallic elements(chromium,manganese,vanadium,zinc,phosphorus,silicon,etc.).

Metal melting-To ensure that the metal melt meets the expected requirements in terms of temperature,chemical identity,and purity,various reflective tests aimed at controlling quality should be stopped during the melting process,such as temperature testing,pre furnace chemical analysis,and pre furnace treatment(desulfurization,vacuum degassing,essence,and incubation and transformation treatment).

2.Mold preparation:Different products,different forging methods,different mold preparation methods;There are sand molds,metal molds,etc.The commonly used sand forging and mold preparation include preparation of external shape data,core making,sand mixing(to control the identity and humidity of the molding sand),external shape,etc.Prior to this,there was a casting drawing plan for the cast iron platform(cast iron flat plate);Pouring and riser planning,casting system planning techniques,and model making,etc.

The accuracy of cast iron platform(cast iron flat plate)castings and the economic consequences of the entire labor process depend heavily on this process.In modern childbirth,the external core making has been mechanized or proactive,and commonly used equipment includes:high,medium and high pressure external molding machines,sand throwing machines,core shooting machines,cold and hot core box machines,etc.

3.Metal casting is usually divided into two types:manual casting and machine casting.When casting on a cast iron platform,manual casting is used,and the iron ladle is lifted by a crane and lifting measures to achieve casting(paying attention to whether the slag during casting is sufficient,whether the pouring temperature is suitable,etc.).Non ferrous metal forging is also actively achieved by using a pressure forging machine.At this time,it is necessary to control the parameters of the die-casting process-temperature,pressure,time,etc.),and there are various types of die-casting machines available for tense measures.

4.Disposal of cast iron platform castings:There are urgent issues such as sand drop,sand cleaning,clearing of the sprue and riser,and some castings that require additional heat treatment(such as annealing of castings,normalizing of ductile iron,etc.),as well as rust prevention treatment.The equipment for disposal includes sand blasting machines,shot blasting machines,various types of heat treatment furnaces,etc.

The important factors to consider during the process of childbirth include the temperature during melting,the identity of the molten liquid,the casting temperature,and the control of the heat treatment process of the platform casting(heating temperature,insulation time,cooling rate).

The melting,casting,and heat treatment processes of cast iron platforms(cast iron flat plates)should be controlled as separate processes.

The forging of ductile iron parts should pay attention to the quality of furnace materials(coke,pig iron,scrap steel,and spheroidizing agent,especially the inclusion of high alloy steel in scrap steel)

The quality of various raw materials used in forging is low.It is difficult to produce castings without raw materials.For example,it is difficult to guarantee the supply of forged coke from low sulfur and low phosphorus pig iron.There is no unified management organization for forging sand,and the quality cannot be guaranteed.Other raw and auxiliary materials have similar environments.

Quality of cast iron platform(welding platform)castings

It usually includes three aspects:

(1)Connotation quality:It includes the quality of casting data(chemical identity,metallographic structure,metallurgical defects,physical and mechanical properties)

The ability to handle certain external functions and external forging defects of castings.

(2)Internal quality:It usually includes the external quality(external roughness,external hard layer,hardness,etc.)and size of the casting

And the shortcomings of component accuracy(size and shape)and surface forging.

(3)Application quality:It includes cutting function,welding function,and service life,etc.

Casting cost is a crucial component of product cost.To lower the cost of products,try to lower the cost of castings as much as possible.For a long time,there has been insufficient emphasis on the quality of castings,particularly on the intrinsic quality and delivery cost of castings.Many manufacturers are accustomed to using scrap rate as the audit target for casting quality.In fact,the high or low scrap rate cannot represent the quality of castings.It can only reflect the level of skill and governance of the enterprise.Neglecting intrinsic quality and delivery cost further shortens the competitiveness of castings in the market.

(!)The level of governance is lagging behind.For a long period of time,many enterprises regarded the inspection of castings as a crucial measure of quality control.After fulfilling comprehensive quality control,this kind of environment has not fundamentally changed,which is a pessimistic quality control method.We should reflect on and regulate the entire process of forging and childbirth,and apply statistical principles to invent and control the abnormal identities that can occur during the childbirth process in advance,in order to achieve the goal of maintaining a stable childbirth process and reducing waste rates,as long as we can improve product quality and reduce childbirth costs.

($)The level of craftsmanship and skill is lagging behind.To improve the quality of castings,the first step is to rely on the superstitious skills and quality management of our predecessors.From the current situation in China,it is urgent to improve the level of management,but fundamentally,we still need to improve the level of superstitious skills.

(%)Lack of forging testing skills.To improve the quality of castings,it is not only necessary to have access to raw materials,the superstitious skills of predecessors,and strict quality management systems,but also to rely on the testing skills and skills of predecessors.The level of improvement in detection skills is a crucial factor in forging the transition from resume to superstition in childbirth.

In summary,the key factors that affect the quality of castings during the forging and delivery process come from four aspects:

The construction and management of childbirth.

The quality of raw materials,equipment,and process equipment.
